Welcome,
These resources are for anyone interested in or working in the grant assessment space, whether you work on a freelance basis or are employed by a grantmaker. Over the years I have learnt so much about assessing and freelancing as an assessor too.
I have learnt how to find work, where to find it and how to sustain it over the long term. I have also found lots of resources to learn from and keep me up to date with all the current issues.
I absolutely love being an assessor and I'm so excited to share how I do it with you. It's a very rewarding career choice and great side hustle too.
If you want help with finding work, or want to develop your knowledge and skills in a particular area of assessing, then I am right here to support you.
If there are other areas you need help with then please don't hesitate to get in touch, or sign up for my regular newsletter.

NEW CLIENT CHECKLIST
You have a new client you're going to assess for, great but what next? Over the years, I've built a list of essential questions to ask at this stage to ensure I can complete the work successfully for both me and the client. This list took me years to perfect but you don't have to wait that long! This is a must have for any new freelance assessor.

WHAT ASSESSORS SAY
Adriana
I didn't have a concrete plan for how to reach potential clients and how to package my services, so downloading your ABC Method has proven already a great resource with lots of tips to implement straightaway.
I feel I now have a clear pathway and action plan thanks to your method, so I'm reaching out to say thank you for putting together such an invaluable guide."

I have found her resources to be extremely helpful as I start my freelance journey. I've signed up for her newsletter, downloaded the ABC guide and joined the community, all of which I am finding invaluable resources.
Jennifer is friendly, open and genuinely wants to help other freelance grant assessors. She is responsive to direct approaches from people wanting to know more and has been extremely generous with her time, even agreeing to meet online for a virtual chat.
Thank you Jennifer! I am looking forward to remaining connected and helping you to grow the network.
