Your complete guide to setting up as a freelance grant assessor.

I can help with those tasks you know you must do but keep delaying

Let me show you where to start

I get it, you've decided to start assessing on a freelance basis. Your priority is to focus on building your clients, but you also know there are essential steps to set up as a freelancer. Insurance, tax, and having the right software have probably featured in your thoughts, but what else is there you need to know and how do you think of everything?

This is where I can help. I love freelancing as an assessor, and ever since I was young I have wanted to be self employed. From setting up systems to business management, I have started from scratch, genuinely loved it, and know what you need to do.

Confidence and peace of mind

So, that's why I've created a guide to freelancing as an assessor.  It's there to help you navigate freelancing so that you:

Start off on the right foot.

Build a strong foundation to grow upon.

Have peace of mind, but also confidence in your service

A level of professionalism that makes you feel good.

There are over 15 actions to take overall, some of which I would never have thought to consider when I first started out!

You don't have to do everything from the start. I can help you figure out what you need now, and what can wait, not everything is urgent.

Essentials for working with a new client

I've also created a client checklist to help when you're working with new clients. It tells you all the things you need to find out from your new client before you start assessing.  It took me years of practice to perfect this list, but it's so useful I wanted to share it with you.

I'm sure you will find these resources super helpful! As always, keep in touch, let me know how it's going and if you have any questions, I'm here! â€‹

WHAT ASSESSORS SAY

Adriana

I didn't have a concrete plan for how to reach potential clients and how to package my services, so downloading your ABC Method has proven already a great resource with lots of tips to implement straightaway.

I feel I now have a clear pathway and action plan thanks to your method, so I'm reaching out to say thank you for putting together such an invaluable guide."
